Tiburones, Cozumel: Deep Drift with Sharks

Tiburones is a deep northern Cozumel reef, distinct from the more frequented southern national park sites. This is a special excursion, taking you beyond the usual dive routes into an area where the reef drops quickly into deeper water. You'll begin your descent into an environment that feels untouched, a pristine ecosystem where the light shifts as you push past the 20-metre mark, entering the domain of larger pelagic life.

The topography here features reef structures typical of Cozumel's northern reaches, but with a rapid drop-off that defines the dive profile. As you descend towards the minimum depth of 24 metres, you'll feel the water column surrounding you, a clear indication of the site's scale. This is not a shallow reef exploration; it's a deep drift along a dynamic environment, where the reef's edge serves as a highway for marine life.
