The room choice is mainly about the view and the amount of space you want around you. Ocean View rooms put the marina or ocean in the picture, while Terrace and Balcony rooms give you outdoor space for the first coffee of the day or the decompression period when conversation has not quite restarted yet. The Ocean View King suits a couple who want one large bed and a direct view; the Double options use two double beds.

If you are travelling with friends, the Two-Bedroom Suite is the practical step up, with separate bedrooms and room for four adults. The larger suites and Penthouse Apartment are aimed at people who want the accommodation itself to be part of the stay rather than simply somewhere to drop a wet bag. For accessibility, an accessible Terrace King room is available.

The rooftop bar runs until 23:00, while in-room dining covers breakfast, lunch and dinner, with late-night service from 23:00 to 07:00. Room service is available around the clock, useful when the idea of dressing for dinner has lost a fair fight with gravity.

Two outdoor pools cover different versions of a non-diving day. The Rooftop Pool is an infinity pool with a bar, jacuzzi and lounge areas looking across the marina, mountains and sunsets. Downstairs, the Quiet Pool is the lower-key option, particularly suited to staying horizontal after a massage. Sun loungers, umbrellas and pool or beach towels are available.

El Ganzo Spa has an indoor-outdoor bathhouse with dry and wet saunas, soaking and cold-plunge pools, hydrotherapy and quiet spaces for rest. Treatments include massage, facials, body treatments, mud baths, wraps and the Pre-Hispanic Session inspired by Mayan healing practices. There is also a spa lounge, jacuzzi and beauty services. The hotel keeps the cultural side moving too. Temporary galleries, art exhibitions, creative workshops and artist interventions give you something to look at besides the weather forecast. Wednesday brings Gipsy Nights with Alebrije Flamenco, Thursday is Blues Night, and Friday brings live music from the El Ganzo Collective and special guests. The beach club adds DJ sets, live music, outdoor films on the jetty and pop-up events. Bicycle hire, bike tours, snorkelling, canoeing, fishing, water sports and boat excursions are also available, with some activities off site or subject to an additional charge.

You can arrange an airport shuttle with the hotel, either as a private transfer or a shared service, and a shuttle boat runs to the beach club and jetty. The boat crossing takes about two minutes. At the beach club, you have sand, loungers, umbrellas, cabanas, showers, a bar and a restaurant; it sits on a calm, swimmable cove reached from the hotel by shuttle boat.
