The reefs are teeming with life, including various species of Angelfish (Pomacanthidae), Parrotfish (Calotomus), and Sergeant majors. You will regularly encounter schools of Snapper (Lutjanus), diverse species of Grouper (Epinephelus), and many colourful fish throughout the coral gardens.

Larger pelagics and predators are a common sight, particularly around the deeper wrecks and reef edges. Look out for Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda), various Reef sharks (Carcharhinus), and Nurse shark (Ginglymostoma cirratum). Spotted eagle rays (Aetobatus) are also known to frequent these waters.

In the sandy areas and reef crevices, you can find southern stingrays (Hypanus americanus), Moray eel (Muraenidae), and various species of turtle, including the Hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata).

The seabed is decorated with a rich variety of fixed life, including massive Brain Coral Communities, various corals, and Sponge (Porifera). Sea fans and fire coral add texture and colour to the reef structures.

The area is accessible year-round, with the summer months offering warm water and calm seas. During the winter, many divers prefer the region for the improved visibility and quieter conditions.

While currents are generally light across the reef systems, they can become moderate to strong when diving around the larger wrecks. It is important to plan your dive based on your experience level, especially when exploring deeper structures.
