Secret Explorers Dive Center

Secret Explorers Dive Center is situated in the northern Palawan region, specifically within the Busuanga Bay Lodge. This location provides a convenient base for accessing the iconic dive sites of Coron, where the history of the Second World War meets vibrant marine ecosystems.

Established in 2024, the centre focuses on delivering professional, small-group excursions. Whether you are navigating the silty corridors of a sunken vessel or exploring the reef flats, the emphasis remains on a personalised connection to the environment.

The centre was founded by Juve, a local Philippine diver, and Ludwig, a former firefighter from Paris. This combination of local expertise and a professional background in emergency services shapes the centre's approach to dive safety and adventure.

As a PADI affiliated centre, they maintain a strict diver-to-guide ratio of two divers per instructor. This ensures that every diver, from those completing their first Discover Scuba Diving session to seasoned professionals, receives dedicated attention throughout the dive.

Secret Explorers offers a comprehensive range of PADI courses catering to all experience levels. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or progress through the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

For those looking to specialise, the centre provides PADI specialty courses including Wreck Diver, Deep Diver, and Nitrox. More advanced training is also available, covering Rescue Diver, Divemaster, and the full path from Rescue through to Divemaster.

The centre provides full equipment hire for those not travelling with their own kit. This includes all necessary components for a complete diving setup.

On-site facilities include access to tea, coffee, and water for divers between trips. The centre's location within a luxury lodge also provides a comfortable environment for preparing for your dives.

The reefs are home to a diverse array of fish, including various species of Butterflyfish (Chaetodon) and Angelfish (Pomacanthidae). You will frequently encounter rabbitfish, reef fish, and Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda) patrolling the water column.

Hard corals and various other corals form the backbone of the ecosystem, providing essential habitat for the local residents. Turtles are also a regular sight around the reef structures.

For those interested in smaller life, the area supports a variety of Shrimp (Caridea) and other macro life that thrives within the reef architecture.
