Easy Divers

Located on the shores of Lamai Beach, Easy Divers has been a fixture of the Koh Samui diving community since 1987. This PADI 5 Star IDC centre serves as a central hub for divers looking to explore the reefs of the Samui archipelago and the waters surrounding the nearby islands.

The centre's location on Koh Samui allows for easy access to a variety of dive sites, ranging from shallow reef flats to more prominent locations like Sail Rock. Whether you are starting your journey with a Discover Scuba Diving course or you are an experienced diver looking for advanced certifications, the facility is designed to support all stages of your training.

As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, the facility is equipped to handle everything from basic recreational training to professional Instructor Development Courses. The staff is capable of communicating in English, Thai, German, and French, ensuring clear communication during briefings and training sessions.

Instruction is conducted with a focus on small groups, maintaining a ratio of a maximum of 5 divers per guide. This ensures you receive focused attention whether you are working through the PADI Scuba Diver or Rescue Diver curriculum.

The training programme is comprehensive, covering the full PADI range from Discover Scuba Diving and the Bubblemaker Program through to Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver. For those looking to deepen their skills, the centre offers specialised courses including Deep Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Underwater Navigator.

Professional development is a core part of the centre's identity as an IDC facility. You can train through the full progression from Rescue Diver and Divemaster up to the Instructor Development Course (IDC). Additional specialties such as Digital Underwater Photographer and Search and Recovery are also available.

Excursions are conducted using modern high-speed catamarans or fast motorboats. These vessels allow you to reach the diverse dive sites of the Samui archipelago and the hidden reefs to the south of the island efficiently.

Nitrox is available for use during your boat trips, providing more flexibility for your dive profiles. The boats are configured to facilitate easy access to the water for divers of all levels.

The shore-based facility on Lamai Beach features a spacious training centre equipped with air-conditioned, computerised classrooms. For those beginning their training, there is a private swimming pool on-site to practice skills in a controlled environment.

Full equipment hire is available, covering all the essentials needed for your dives. The centre is also equipped to provide Nitrox for divers looking to extend their bottom times.

The waters in this region are known for encounters with larger pelagics, including the whale shark. These encounters depend on seasonal movements and local currents.

Beyond the larger species, the reefs support a diverse range of marine life. You will find a variety of reef fish and invertebrates inhabiting the structures throughout the archipelago.
