La Palma Jardín Resort

Puerto de Tazacorte Beach is 4.2 miles away by car, with the journey taking about ten minutes. You can also reach several places to eat nearby: Restaurante Carmen is roughly 0.2 miles away, Restaurante Frachipani about 0.3 miles, and Tasca Catalina around 0.7 miles. El Café de Don Manuel and Kachote are about 2.3 miles away by car.

La Palma Airport is about 13 miles away by car, with a typical drive of around 26 minutes. The resort gives you a base inland and above the coast, rather than a beachside address.

The accommodation is designed for staying in, not merely sleeping between excursions. Each unit has a kitchen or kitchenette with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and kitchenware. That means cold water ready when you return, breakfast at your own pace, and the option of dealing with a proper appetite without waiting for a restaurant table.

The One-Bedroom Apartment is the natural choice for a couple who want separate living space and a manageable base. If you need more room for a small party, the Villa gives you a broader layout, with a private entrance, terrace and garden setting. Both options keep the practical details close: a dining area, seating area, private bathroom and storage for clothes.

Nights come with heating, soundproof rooms, a mosquito net and ground-floor access across the accommodation. Some units bring sea views, others garden or mountain views, so the outlook matters when you choose. A bath or shower, towels, toiletries, bathrobe and hairdryer take care of the post-dive routine, while free WiFi and a television cover the quieter hours.

La Palma Jardín is set up for self-catering rather than a hotel dining routine. Your apartment kitchen includes the equipment needed for something more ambitious than toast: an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and dining table. After a long day, that can be a real advantage, particularly if you prefer an early meal or have your own idea of what counts as dinner.

When cooking feels like unnecessary decompression, nearby restaurants give you alternatives. Restaurante Carmen and Restaurante Frachipani are both close to the resort, while Tasca Catalina is within walking distance at roughly 0.7 miles. There is no stated hotel meal plan to organise your day around, so you keep control of the timetable. That suits divers who would rather not build tomorrow's first immersion around a fixed breakfast.

The main recovery tool is an indoor heated swimming pool of about 20 metres, kept at roughly 29–30°C and surrounded by vegetation. It is useful when the weather turns, but also when you simply want gentle movement without making another expedition of the afternoon. A fitness centre and tennis court cover the more energetic option, with tennis equipment available on site.

The spa is the reason to stay put. You have a foot bath, saunas, individual steam rooms, a hot tub in the garden, heated loungers and water beds, with massages available when your shoulders have had enough of carrying kit. The emphasis is on private, unhurried recovery rather than organised entertainment.

For a slower evening, there is table tennis, billiards and a games room. The gardens include furnished terraces and picnic areas, giving you somewhere outdoors to read, talk or simply watch the light change over the island. Free WiFi is available throughout if the outside world insists on finding you.

Free private parking is available on site, and you do not need to reserve a space. A tour desk and luggage storage are also available, useful if your arrival or departure does not line up neatly with your accommodation. The airport is about 13 miles away by car.

Check-in runs from 09:00 to 20:00, and you need to tell the property your expected arrival time in advance. Check-out is available at any time. Cash is accepted, and the accommodation is non-smoking; parties and events are not permitted, and pets are not allowed.

Children of any age are welcome. Cots can be requested for children aged up to one year, subject to the accommodation option, while extra beds are not available. There is no age requirement for check-in.
