BeFree2Dive is situated within the Marina Baie des Anges at the Espace Maurice Aubert in Villeneuve-Loubet. This prime location provides direct access to the Mediterranean, making it an ideal base for exploring the local underwater topography.

The centre operates with a dual affiliation, offering both the French FFESSM curriculum and the SSI international system. This allows divers to choose the certification path that best suits their long-term goals, with seamless transitions between the two frameworks.

The centre is managed by Jérôme, a DEJEPS E4 instructor, ensuring a high level of professional oversight for all activities. The team is composed of qualified professionals dedicated to both recreational diving and specialised freediving training.

Instruction is delivered in French, and the centre places a strong emphasis on educational quality. For many of their training courses, they utilise video debriefing to help you refine your technique and monitor your progress in real time.

The training catalogue is extensive, covering everything from initial introductions to advanced certifications. For those following the FFESSM route, courses include Niveau 1, Niveau 2, and Niveau 3, as well as specific aptitudes such as PE 40, PA 20, and PA 40.

SSI divers can progress through the Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, and advanced levels including SSI Deep Diver, SSI Nitrox, and SSI Stress & Rescue. The centre also offers a robust freediving programme, featuring SSI Level 1, 2, and 3, along with specialised training in compensation techniques and cross-training.

The centre organises boat excursions, including the 'échappée bleue' trips, which allow you to reach more distant sites. These outings are conducted with a commitment to environmental protection, following the HQWW charter for observing marine life in the Pelagos sanctuary.

On-site, the centre provides specific equipment necessary for freediving. For scuba divers, Nitrox is available to extend your bottom time and manage nitrogen loading more effectively.

For those beginning their journey, the centre also utilises 'Le Lagon' swimming pool for certain initiation activities, providing a controlled environment to practice buoyancy and basic skills before heading to the sea.

The local waters are home to impressive pelagics, including occasional sightings of cetaceans and ocean sunfish. These larger animals move through the area, providing significant interest for divers on boat excursions.

In the shallower reef areas and seagrass meadows, the biodiversity is rich. You will encounter a variety of Mediterranean marine life that thrives in these protected coastal waters.
