The centre operates as an SSI Instructor Training Centre, meaning it is equipped to take divers from their very first breath-hold session through to professional instructor status. The teaching philosophy is built on years of experience in the Red Sea, focusing on technical precision and safety.

Instruction is conducted in English, and the school maintains a strict ratio of three divers per guide to ensure personalised attention and safety during training. Larger residents such as groupers (Epinephelus), Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus), and various species of triggerfish (Balistidae) can often be seen patrolling the reef.

For those interested in larger pelagics, the area attracts turtles, rays (Batoidea), and occasional sightings of whale sharks. You may also spot jack (Carangidae), trevally, and various reef sharks, including whitetip reef sharks (Triaenodon obesus) and grey reef sharks (Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos).

Macro enthusiasts will find plenty to observe among the corals and anemones. Look for lionfish (Pterois volitans), octopus (Octopus vulgaris), seahorses (Hippocampus kuda), and various nudibranchs. The reef structure itself is a rich tapestry of soft corals, brain coral, sea fans (Gorgoniidae), and sponges (Porifera).

The Blue Hole is particularly noted for its calm conditions, as the reef structure provides significant protection from swell. This typically results in a flat surface, which is ideal for deep breath-hold training.
