The centre operates as a PADI 5 Star IDC facility, meaning they are equipped to handle a full spectrum of divers. Whether you are looking for your first experience in the water or are a technical diver seeking IANTD courses up to 100m, the infrastructure is in place to support your progression.

The team at Reef 2000 is a multilingual group, capable of conducting dives and training in English, French, German, Italian, Arabic, and Ukrainian. This makes the centre a reliable choice for international divers looking for clear communication during briefings and instruction.

Safety and personalised service are the core of their operations, with a strict limit of six divers per guide. This ratio ensures that even in more challenging environments, you have the direct supervision required for a controlled and professional dive experience.

As an IDC centre, they are also a training hub for the next generation of professionals. They offer the full range of PADI professional pathways, including Divemaster and Instructor Development Courses, catering to those looking to turn their passion into a career.

Training at Reef 2000 covers the entire PADI progression. You can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Scuba Diver course and move through to Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water, and Deep Diver certifications.

The reefs around Dahab are teeming with life, from large pelagics to intricate macro species. You will regularly see schools of fish, including snapper schools, fusilier (Caesio), and various anthias. Larger residents such as groupers (Epinephelus), Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus), and triggerfish (Balistidae) are common sights around the reef structures.

For those watching the blue, keep an eye out for pelagics like tuna (Thunnus), jacks (Carangidae), and trevally. You may also encounter sharks, including whitetip reef shark (Triaenodon obesus) and grey reef shark (Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos), as well as rays (Batoidea) and occasional whale sharks.
