Scuba Seekers has been operating in Dahab since 2006, establishing itself as a cornerstone of the local diving community. Based at the Crazy Camel Camp, the centre provides a relaxed environment away from the main urban bustle, allowing you to focus entirely on your diving.

As an Aqualung Partner Centre, the facility is built around a commitment to high-quality instruction and environmental respect. Whether you are here for a single reef dive or a complex technical expedition, the centre's long-standing reputation is backed by its recognition as one of the top diving centres globally by Dive Magazine.

The team is composed of 15 professional instructors, ensuring a high level of expertise across a wide range of disciplines. You will find staff capable of guiding you through everything from your first breaths underwater to advanced technical decompression dives.

Instruction is available in English and Italian, making it accessible for international divers. The centre's philosophy is rooted in a family-like atmosphere, where the focus remains on safety and the preservation of the Red Sea's delicate ecosystems.

Scuba Seekers offers a complete spectrum of training through PADI, SSI, and TDI. Beginners can start with the Open Water Diver course, progressing through Advanced Open Water, Deep Diver, and Rescue Diver levels. They also provide the Enriched Air Nitrox course, which involves a half-day of dry theory.

For those looking to move into professional or scientific diving, the centre teaches Divemaster, SSI Instructor courses, and specialised programmes such as Reef Check Ecodiver and the Fish Surveying Program.

Technical diving is a core specialty here, with a heavy emphasis on GUE (Global Underwater Explorers) and TDI certifications. You can undertake GUE Fundamentals, GUE Technical Diver 1, and advanced rebreather training including GUE CCR Fundamentals, GUE CCR Tech Diver 1, and GUE CCR Tech Diver 2. The centre also offers SSI XR courses and the Science of Diving.

The centre is equipped with high-end gear to suit different diving profiles. For recreational divers, Aqualung equipment is the standard, while technical divers can access professional-grade kit from Halcyon, ScubaPro, Shearwater, and Santi.

On-site facilities include dedicated rinsing tanks to keep your gear clean, with separate areas for recreational and technical equipment. The centre also provides secure individual lockers for your personal belongings and comfortable classrooms for theoretical training.

For those needing to rent equipment, a full range is available, including BCDs, regulators, masks, fins, boots, and wetsuits. Divers can also hire torches for night dives, signal buoys (SMB), and reels, as well as dive computers for both recreational and technical use.

The reefs are teeming with life, where you can regularly encounter groupers (Epinephelinae), large moray eels (Muraenidae), and various species of turtles. Schools of fish, including snappers (Lutjanidae) and jacks (Carangidae), often move past the reef, while you might spot a giant moray (Gymnothorax javanicus) or a large grouper (Epinephelinae) lurking near the ledges.

You will often see colourful reef fish such as butterflyfish (Chaetodon), bannerfish (Heniochus), and various species of anthias (Anthias). The coral scenery is equally impressive, with a landscape of soft corals (Alcyonacea), fan corals (Gorgonacea), sponges (Porifera), and black corals (Antipatharia) providing a complex habitat.

For macro enthusiasts, the area offers plenty to explore, including scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae), octopus (Octopus vulgaris), and various species of nudibranch (Chromodoris willani). Keep an eye out for garden eels (Gorgasia), seahorses (Hippocampus), and various crustaceans in the smaller crevices of the reef.

Larger pelagics may also be sighted, including rays (Batoidea), such as blue spotted stingrays, and occasionally reef sharks (Carcharhinus). Crocodilefish (Cymbacephalus beauforti) and various species of pufferfish (Tetraodontidae) are also common residents of the sandy and reef areas.

The diving in this region is subject to local currents, particularly when visiting wreck sites or certain reef passages. Divers should be prepared for varying conditions depending on the specific site and the time of day.
