The immediate area is useful rather than decorative: Fontina and Los Chachalacos are only a few hundred feet away, with Sirenas Raw Bar around 350 metres on foot. The Xcaret Xailing ferry terminal and the Xcaret Scenic Tower are close by, while Cancún Government Palace and the Cancún Convention Center are about 5 km away. Cancún International Airport is about 12 miles away by road, with the drive taking around 21 minutes.

The accommodation works well when your priorities are sleep, a cold drink and somewhere to make a quick coffee before an early departure. If you want to leave the guesthouse, the Mayan Museum is about 8 miles away by car and El Rey Mayan Ruins about 8 miles away. Parque las Palapas is around 4 miles away by car, offering another reason to head into Cancún when the sea is not on the schedule.
