Oceana Dive Resort is a beachfront base in Gorontalo for travellers who want the sea close, meals on site and enough space to slow down between outings.

For a change of scenery, Peti Kemas and Sungai Bone are urban parks at roughly 1.5 and 1.6 miles respectively.

Jalaluddin Airport is about 20 miles away by road. The resort offers an airport shuttle, which you can arrange with the hotel before travelling; the drive is the sort of final logistical detail worth settling before your flight rather than while carrying wet kit.

The useful choice here is less about hotel theatre and more about how you travel. Couples can choose a pool-view double room or a sea-view twin if separate beds matter more than sharing a mattress. The Beach Bar is the single named bar, with cocktails and a proper beach-bar setting. In other words, you can move from sea to shower to supper without needing transport, which is exactly the sort of luxury that matters when your appetite has arrived before you have.

The private beach and sun terrace are the obvious places to decompress, with loungers and parasols already part of the arrangement. An open-air bath adds another way to sit still, while pool and beach towels save you from turning your room into a drying rack for half the day.

Yoga classes, full-body and targeted massages, wellness packages and an open-air bath make up the quieter side of the resort.
