Euro-Divers Lanzarote is a family-operated dive centre under Dutch management, situated in the heart of Puerto del Carmen. The centre is ideally positioned for divers who want a mix of convenient shore diving and organised boat excursions to the more remote volcanic sites of the Canary Islands.

The local diving is defined by its diverse topography, ranging from shallow reef flats to deeper walls and interesting wreck sites. Whether you are looking for a relaxed day of snorkeling or a technical dive on a wreck, the centre provides the logistics to reach Lanzarote's most varied underwater environments.

The centre is run by an international team of instructors who prioritise a personalised approach. You will typically dive in small groups, with a maximum of 4 divers per guide, ensuring that instruction and safety are tailored to your specific air consumption and experience level.

Instruction is available in several languages, including English, Dutch, German, and Spanish. This multilingual approach helps facilitate clear communication during briefings and training sessions, making it a reliable choice for international divers.

As a PADI affiliated centre, the course catalogue is extensive, covering every stage of a diver's progression. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Bubblemaker programme, moving through to PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver.

For those looking to specialise, the centre offers several PADI specialty courses, including Nitrox, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, and Drift Diver. More advanced training is also available, including Rescue Diver, Divemaster, and specialty skills such as Underwater Navigation and Peak Performance Buoyancy.

For excursions to more distant sites, the centre utilises Zodiacs and RIBs to transport divers. These vessels allow access to specific locations such as the Playa Blanca area or the northern reaches of the island.

Moray eels (Muraenidae) are frequently seen amongst the rocks, alongside colourful reef fish, damselfish (Pomacentridae), and triggerfish (Balistidae).

For those interested in macro life, the area provides plenty of interest. You can find nudibranchs (Chromodoris willani), seahorses (Hippocampus kuda), and various species of octopus (Octopus vulgaris). Look closely around the reef for cleaner shrimp (Lysmata), cuttlefish (Sepiidae), and many different types of sponges (Porifera).

In the open water, larger pelagic species may be spotted, including dolphins, whales, and sharks. The local waters also support sea turtles (Cheloniidae) and various types of rays, including manta rays (Mobula alfredi) and mobula rays.

Diving in Lanzarote is possible year-round, with no specific closed season. The environment is characterised by clear waters and varied underwater topography, from shallow reef flats to deeper drop-offs.

Safety is a priority with a decompression chamber located in Arrecife, just 10 minutes away, and oxygen kits maintained at the centre, on the minibus, and on board the boats.
