Located in the heart of the Morbihan, Bubble Dream Black Manta offers a gateway to the diverse marine environments of the Brittany coast. The centre operates across two distinct settings: the sheltered waters of the Ria d'Etel and the more open, rugged maritime landscape surrounding the Île de Groix.

Whether you are looking for a calm introduction to the underwater world or seeking to explore historical wrecks, the programme is designed to suit your level. The school focuses on personalised instruction, ensuring that every diver, from children to advanced enthusiasts, receives focused attention in a safe and professional environment.

The school is run by Sandrine and Myke, both professional instructors holding DEJEPS and BEES1 qualifications. As members of the Association nationale des Moniteurs de plongée (ANMP), they provide training and explorations that follow internationally recognised standards.

Instruction is conducted in small groups, with a maximum of 6 divers per guide. This low ratio allows for a tailored approach to technique and safety, which is particularly beneficial during specialised training sessions. The team also offers dedicated programmes for children, making the sport accessible to younger divers starting from age 8.

The centre offers a comprehensive range of ANMP-CEDIP certifications, which are recognised globally. Beginners can start with an initial diving introduction, while more structured paths lead through PE20 and PA20 levels.

Beyond standard certifications, the school provides personalised technique training for divers looking to refine their buoyancy or propulsion. They also host dedicated training programmes specifically designed for children.

Excursions to the Île de Groix depart from the port of Lomener. These trips allow you to access the deeper rocky reefs and the historical wrecks that sit in the surrounding waters.

For those requiring equipment, the centre provides essential kit including 7mm wetsuits, fins, masks, and snorkels. Rental options are available for individual components such as the wetsuit, BCD, and regulator.

Weights are included as part of the service. The centre is set up to handle various types of diving, from shore-based entries in the Ria d'Etel to boat-based departures for offshore sites.

The marine life in this region is defined by the rich Brittany coastal ecosystem. You will encounter a variety of local fish and flora that thrive in the changing currents of the Morbihan coast.

In the rocky areas around Groix, the habitat is structured by stone and reef, providing shelter for various species. The wrecks in the area offer an alternative environment where marine life has colonised the historical structures.

Macro life and smaller organisms are present throughout the seagrass and rocky crevices, rewarding divers who take the time to observe the finer details of the seabed.

Diving in this area is highly dependent on the tidal cycle. For the best experience, dives are scheduled to coincide with high tide at slack water, particularly when the tidal coefficient is low.

This timing helps to manage the currents and ensures more predictable conditions for both exploration and training sessions.
