E Ragnole Plongée is situated in the heart of Ajaccio, positioned on the Cours Lucien Bonaparte near the road to the Îles Sanguinaires. The centre sits just ten metres from the water's edge at Plage Trottel, making access to the boats and equipment exceptionally easy for divers.

Because the centre is well-sheltered within the Gulf of Ajaccio, it remains a reliable base for diving in various weather conditions. The location is also highly convenient for those staying in town, with shops and local amenities within walking distance of the dive shop.

The team is composed of five experienced professionals, led by Director Christian Aragon, a BEES 2, FFESSM Regional Instructor, PADI OWSI, and Trimix Instructor. The staff includes Myrose Aragon (BEES 1, Nitrox Instructor, First Aid Trainer), Guillaume Aragon (BEES 2, Nitrox Instructor, PADI OWSI), Sébastien Aragon (BEES 1, Nitrox Instructor, PADI OWSI), and Eric Olivi (BEES 2, FFESSM Regional Instructor, National First Aid Instructor, PADI OWSI).

This depth of qualification ensures that the centre can support a broad spectrum of divers. Whether you are looking for introductory dives or advanced technical training in Nitrox or Trimix, the instructors bring significant expertise to every session. The centre operates with a strict ratio of one guide per diver to ensure safety and personalised attention.

The centre provides training through multiple certifying bodies, including PADI, FFESSM, ANMP, and CMAS. For those starting their journey, courses range from Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver to the FFESSM Niveau 1 and PE12 qualifications.

Advanced divers can progress through Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster levels, or pursue specialised FFESSM training such as Niveau 2 (PE40), Niveau 3 (PE60), and Guide de palanquée (Niveau 4). The centre also offers technical training in Nitrox and Trimix, as well as instructor-level training such as MF1, RIFA, and TSI.

The centre operates two distinct vessels. The E Ragnole is an 8.90-metre semi-rigid boat powered by twin 250 hp engines, designed for speed and efficiency when reaching dive sites. It has a capacity for up to 18 divers.

The Caribou is a more spacious dive boat, featuring dedicated storage areas, seating, and both open and sheltered spaces to protect you from the sun or weather. It is equipped with two functional rear ladders to facilitate easy entries and exits from the water.

The shore-based facilities include a professional gas blending station equipped with a BAUER compressor and a 41m3/h capacity cylinder buffer. This setup allows the centre to provide Nitrox mixes (up to 36%) and Trimix for technical divers.

For those needing to rent kit, the centre provides a full range of equipment, including wetsuits, fins, masks, and snorkels. Divers can also hire dive computers and underwater torches for night dives. The centre is an authorised Mares dealer, offering equipment for sale.

The centre is located in the Gulf of Ajaccio, which provides natural shelter from many prevailing winds, allowing for diving in a wide range of weather conditions. The proximity to the shore and the sheltered nature of the gulf make it a stable environment for both local reef dives and trips further out.
