Located in Cargèse, CARGESUB is a professional diving structure officially recognised by Jeunesse et Sport. The centre is deeply rooted in the local Mediterranean environment, drawing on three decades of experience exploring the surrounding seabed.

The centre's premises are situated directly on the port, offering an original setting for divers to prepare for their outings. With a focus on professional standards and a family-oriented atmosphere, it serves as a reliable base for both local residents and visiting divers looking to explore the regional marine protected areas.

The team at CARGESUB is composed of experienced professionals who have spent thirty years navigating and exploring the underwater landscapes of Cargèse. This longevity provides a deep level of local knowledge that informs every dive and training session.

As a recognised Beuchat Diving Center, the staff is well-versed in the use and maintenance of high-quality equipment. The atmosphere is designed to be professional yet convivial, catering to individual divers and groups alike while ensuring a safe and respectful approach to the Mediterranean ecosystem.

CARGESUB offers a comprehensive range of training programmes, starting from the NIVEAU 1 introductory level. They provide structured paths for progression, including the NIVEAU PE40 and NIVEAU 2 certifications.

For those looking to move beyond recreational diving, the centre also offers Plongée TECHNIQUE courses available to all levels. All formal training programmes include the necessary theoretical instruction, logbooks, and certification cards.

The centre operates the Atalante, a 7.50m semi-rigid vessel with a capacity for 24 people. This boat is used for various outings, including exploration dives, special excursions, and night dives.

Whether you are heading out for a standard exploration or a specialised night dive, the Atalante provides a stable platform to reach the local dive sites. The boat is fully homologated for passenger transport, ensuring safety and reliability for all divers on board.

The centre is a Beuchat Diving Center and serves as a testing site for high-end equipment. Divers have access to gear from Beuchat, Light & Motion, and Suunto.

For those who do not wish to bring their own full kit, individual items can be hired, including cylinders, wetsuits, BCDs, regulators, and dive computers. The facility also features a dedicated inflation station for cylinder refills.
