Whether you are looking to explore the shallow reef flats or descend into the deep canyons that define this coastline, the centre provides the logistical support required for a focused diving holiday.

The area is famous for its diverse underwater landscapes, ranging from sandy lagoons and garden reefs to dramatic vertical walls and deep fissures. From the sheltered bays of the Lighthouse to the more remote reefs accessible by camel safari, the centre's proximity to these sites makes it an ideal base for both day trips and more adventurous excursions.

As an SSI Diamond centre, Aqua Divers maintains a high standard of professional service and instruction. The team is composed of experienced, multi-agency certified instructors capable of teaching a wide spectrum of disciplines, from introductory dives for beginners to advanced technical courses for seasoned divers.

The centre is committed to marine conservation through the SSI Blue Ocean programme, ensuring that local reef ecosystems are respected during every excursion. They also offer structured programmes for children, including introductory dives to encourage the next generation of divers.

The training catalogue is extensive, covering all major certifying bodies including PADI, SSI, SDI, and TDI. Beginners can start with the PADI Discover Scuba Diver or SSI Try Scuba Diver programmes, progressing through to Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

For those looking to specialise, the centre offers a vast array of courses such as PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep Diver, and Wreck Diver. They also provide advanced training in sidemount diving, decompression procedures, and various levels of Trimix diving for those moving into the technical realm.

The centre provides a full range of rental equipment for those not travelling with their own kit. This includes BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, masks, fins, and torches for night diving. For those needing specific cylinder volumes, both 10L and 15L options are available.

Nitrox is available on-site for divers looking to extend their bottom time. The centre is well-equipped to handle the requirements of both recreational and technical divers, ensuring that the necessary gases and equipment are ready for your scheduled dives.

The reefs are home to a vast array of colourful fish, including Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus), various species of Grouper (Epinephelus), and large schools of Jack (Carangidae). You will frequently encounter Barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda), Triggerfish (Balistidae), and various species of snapper and fusilier (Caesio).

Large pelagics and interesting visitors such as turtles, rays (Batoidea), and even occasional whale sharks add to the excitement of the dives. You may also spot much smaller, more delicate inhabitants like Anthias (Anthias), Boxfish, and various species of pufferfish (Arothron hispidus).

For those with an eye for detail, the macro life is abundant. The sandy slopes and coral crevices host Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), Octopus (Octopus vulgaris), and various species of shrimp (Caridea). You can also find Seahorse (Hippocampus kuda), Spanish dancers, and various species of anemonefish and scorpionfish.

The seascape itself is defined by a rich variety of corals, including large sea fans (Gorgoniidae), black corals, and numerous species of hard and soft corals that provide a complex habitat for the local marine life.

Diving in Dahab is largely characterised by shore entries, though some sites are more easily accessed by boat. While many sites like the Lighthouse offer easy entry in most conditions, others like Eel Garden can experience dangerous currents during strong winds.

Some more remote locations, such as Ras Abu Galum and Gabr El Bint, require a camel safari to reach, offering a more rugged and authentic experience of the Sinai coastline.
