Dolphin Diving Center

Located in the Sharm El Sheikh Marina, Dolphin Diving Center has been a fixture of the Red Sea diving scene since 2000. As a PADI 5 Star centre, it has built a long-standing reputation by training thousands of divers in both recreational and technical disciplines.

The centre is particularly noted for its ability to support advanced profiles. Whether you are looking to explore the vibrant reef flats of Ras Mohammed or undertaking technical decompression dives on deep wrecks, the infrastructure is designed to meet those specific requirements.

The team is composed of eight highly qualified instructors. The staff includes specialists in technical diving and rebreather operations, ensuring that those moving beyond standard recreational limits are supported by experienced hands.

Communication is straightforward for international divers, with the team speaking English, Russian, Italian, French, and Arabic. This multilingual approach helps ensure that safety briefings and training protocols are clearly understood by everyone in the group.

The training programme covers the full PADI spectrum, starting from the Open Water Diver and Referral Open Water courses. For those looking to progress, the centre offers Advanced Open Water Diver, Deep Diver, and PADI Rescue Diver certifications.

Technical and specialised training is a core strength, with courses including Enriched Air Nitrox Diver, PADI Wreck Diver, and the Divemaster programme. The centre is fully equipped to support divers transitioning into more complex profiles.

The centre operates the M/Y Empro 1, a dive yacht with a capacity for 41 people including the crew. Powered by twin Mercedes engines, the vessel is equipped for full-day trips and safaris to the best sites in the region.

On board, you will find dedicated lounge areas, sun decks, and shaded sections to relax between dives. The yacht is fully equipped with essential amenities including showers, toilets, and a kitchen to facilitate long days on the water.

The centre maintains a high standard of equipment, offering rental kit from established brands such as Scubapro, Beuchat, Mares, Suunto, and Divepro. This includes everything needed for a complete dive setup.

For gas blending, the facility is well-equipped with a unit capable of preparing Nitrox up to 100% and a dedicated Trimix preparation unit. Safety is prioritised with on-site oxygen availability for all divers.

The reefs are characterised by a high density of coral and a constant presence of various reef fish. You will find a healthy ecosystem of corals providing the structural foundation for the area's marine life.

Macro enthusiasts can look for frogfish amongst the reef structures. The biodiversity of the seabed ensures there is always something to observe during closer inspections of the reef flat and crevices.

Throughout the dive sites, the presence of diverse reef fish species is a constant, making every excursion a chance to observe the natural rhythms of the Red Sea.

The area is known for excellent visibility, which can reach up to 40 metres. Divers can expect water temperatures to range between 20°C and 28°C depending on the time of year.

While many of the sites are subject to the natural movement of the Red Sea, the centre's experienced crew monitors local conditions to ensure safe and enjoyable diving experiences.
