Since 2007, this family-operated centre has focused on providing a warm, professional atmosphere for divers looking to explore the Red Sea away from the scale of mass tourism.

The centre is ideally positioned to access the premier dive sites of Ras Mohammed and the Tiran Strait. Whether you are looking to complete your first certification or are an experienced diver seeking advanced specialties, the setup is designed to facilitate a focused and comfortable diving experience.

Managed by a German-speaking couple, the centre provides a welcoming, small-scale environment. Instruction and communication are available in both English and German, ensuring clarity for a wide range of international divers.

The team provides a comprehensive range of SSI training, from introductory courses to professional-level certifications. Their long-standing presence in the region since 2007 brings a wealth of local knowledge to every trip.

The centre is an SSI affiliated facility offering a complete spectrum of training. Beginners can start with SSI Try Scuba or the SSI Open Water Diver course, with referral options available for those continuing their training elsewhere.

For those looking to advance their skills, a full suite of SSI specialties is available, including Wreck Diving, Deep Diving, Perfect Buoyancy, and Navigation. The centre also provides professional training through the SSI Dive Guide and Divemaster programmes, alongside essential safety courses like SSI React Right and Diver Stress & Rescue.

The centre operates its own vessel, My Sunshine, a spacious and comfortable boat designed with the diver in mind. The boat features a large shaded deck area for relaxing between dives and a spacious diving platform for easy entries and exits.

Onboard facilities include a kitchen providing fresh lunches and freshwater showers on the deck. For modern convenience, USB charging stations are available on the solar-powered deck. The boat is equipped with modern navigation and safety gear, making it well-suited for trips to both nearby reefs and more distant sites.

A full range of rental equipment is available on-site, including BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, fins, masks, and dive computers. For those who prefer to bring only their core kit, individual items such as fins and masks can also be hired.

Nitrox is available for divers looking to extend their bottom time. The centre's setup is designed to support both recreational and specialty diving, ensuring you have the necessary gas and equipment for your planned profiles.

The reefs are teeming with life, from large pelagics to colourful reef fish. You will encounter various species including Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus), parrotfish (Calotomus), and various species of snapper (Lutjanus). Schools of fusiliers, mackerels, and jacks are common, alongside sightings of barracuda, eagle rays (Aetobatus), and various types of sharks, including whitetip reef sharks (Triaenodon obesus).

The hard and soft coral architecture is spectacular, featuring Porites coral heads, gorgonian fans, and various sea fans (Gorgoniidae). You can also find large giant clams and various species of anemone (Actiniaria) inhabited by clownfish (Amphiprion).

For those interested in macro life, the seabed and reef structures host a variety of smaller creatures. Look out for octopuses (Octopus vulgaris), moray eels (Muraenidae), scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae), and various species of butterflyfish (Chaetodon). You may also spot garden eels (Gorgasia), sea slugs, and various crustaceans amongst the coral.

Diving conditions vary significantly depending on the chosen site. While some reef flats offer calm, low-current environments, sites in the Tiran Strait and Shark Reef can experience strong currents.

Visibility is generally excellent, often reaching 30 metres or more, though it is subject to local conditions. Divers should be prepared for a range of environments, from shallow sandy plateaus to deep walls and drift dives.
