Dive With Us BCS is situated in La Paz, positioned along the shores of the Sea of Cortez. Often referred to as the aquarium of the world, this region offers some of the most diverse marine ecosystems in Mexico.

The centre provides a range of diving experiences, from introductory sessions for those new to the water to specialised excursions. Whether you are looking for a quiet reef dive or a high-energy encounter with pelagics, the service is tailored to the specific needs of the diver.

The centre is managed by Carolina and Gael, two instructors who each bring over 20 years of experience and a personal log of 6,000 dives. They operate as PADI professionals, ensuring that training and guided dives meet international standards.

Instruction is delivered in English, Spanish, and French. The team maintains a ratio of two divers per guide, allowing for a personalised approach to every outing. This small-group structure is particularly beneficial for those managing anxiety or those participating in adaptive diving programmes.

Conservation is a core pillar of their operation. The instructors integrate environmental awareness into their teaching, catering to all ages through specific programmes for children and junior divers.

The centre offers a comprehensive range of PADI certifications. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving, Bubblemaker, or the Junior Open Water and Open Water Diver courses.

For those looking to progress, the curriculum includes Advanced Open Water, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, and Underwater Navigation. Specialty courses such as Peak Performance Buoyancy and Drift Diver are also available.

Professional training is provided for those pursuing a career in diving, with Divemaster courses available upon request. The centre also provides EAN Nitrox training and PADI AWARE conservation courses.

Full rental kit is available on-site for those not travelling with their own equipment. For day dives, an additional third cylinder can be requested as an option to extend your bottom time.

Nitrox is available for use, and the centre maintains oxygen safety equipment on board. The shop also stocks exclusive branded items such as hats and caps.

The Sea of Cortez is home to a vast array of large pelagics. You can regularly encounter sea lions, rays, hammerhead sharks, turtles, dolphins, and mobula rays. Orcas and whale sharks are also part of the local ecosystem.

Seasonal visitors add to the diversity of the area. Between November and April, whale sharks are frequently seen, and the Sardine Run from late October to early January brings marlins and silky sharks to the region.

In the reef environments, such as Cabo Pulmo, you will find healthy schools of fish alongside bull sharks and groupers.

Diving schedules vary depending on the excursion type. Morning departures are set for 8:00 for standard day dives, 7:45 for Cabo Pulmo, and 5:00 for the Sardine Run.
