Rather than operating as a high-volume dive factory, this is a boutique operation focused on quality over quantity. The emphasis is placed on a transformative experience where you can develop your skills in a calm, controlled, and highly professional setting.

The centre is run by Alan, a local instructor who provides a highly personalised service. You can expect instruction delivered either one-on-one or within very small, restricted groups, ensuring that the focus remains entirely on your safety and progression.

Affiliated with SDI and TDI, the centre follows modern training standards, including the systematic use of dive computers from your very first dive. Communication is straightforward, with instruction available in both English and Spanish.

The training programme covers the full spectrum of scuba diving, starting with SDI Scuba Discovery and the Open Water Diver course. For those looking to advance, the centre offers Advanced Open Water Diver and Enriched Air (Nitrox) certifications.

Specialised training is a core strength here, with courses available in Advanced Buoyancy, Sidemount Diver, and Cavern Diver. This structured progression allows you to move from recreational reef diving into the more technical realms of overhead environments.

Full equipment hire is available on-site, covering all the essentials for both reef and cave diving. The centre maintains high-quality kit to ensure reliability for every diver.

Nitrox is available for use, though please note that cylinder fills are not included in the standard cost unless you are enrolled in a specific Nitrox course.

The reefs around Cozumel and Akumal are teeming with life. You will frequently encounter Green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas), alongside various snapper schools and juvenile reef fish. Larger pelagics and rays, including the Southern stingray (Hypanus americanus), are also part of the local ecosystem.

In the shallower reef areas, look for colourful inhabitants such as Parrotfish (Calotomus), Surgeonfish (Acanthuridae), and various Angelfish (Pomacanthidae). You may also spot Moray eel (Muraenidae), including the Green moray (Gymnothorax funebris), tucked into the coral structures.

For those interested in macro life and crustaceans, the environment supports a variety of life including Lobster (Homaridae), Crab (Brachyura), and various cave-adapted crustaceans in the cenotes. Keep an eye out for smaller details like tropical fish and small fish moving through the reef flat.

Diving in the area varies between the protected, still waters of the cenotes and the more open, oceanic conditions of Cozumel. While the reefs can offer drift diving, the cenote environments are generally characterised by their calm, motionless water.
