Air conditioning is welcome in Lombok's heat, particularly when you return tired, warm and carrying a day’s worth of salt on your skin. A refrigerator gives you somewhere to keep drinking water cool, while the electric kettle handles the first cup before you are ready to face the outside world. A work desk, clothes rack and drying rack help keep the room orderly, and mountain views are available among the room features.

The garden, patio and terrace give you somewhere to sit when you have had enough of sand, sun and other people’s holiday plans. Take a drink outside, let the air move through the evening, and resist the familiar mistake of announcing that you will only rest for ten minutes before disappearing into a proper nap.
