Koh Tao Impian Divers: Nederlandse duikschool

Located on the main street of Mae Haad, Impian Divers has been a fixture of the Koh Tao diving community since 2006. This Dutch-managed centre has spent nearly two decades refining its approach to tropical diving, focusing heavily on environmental responsibility and high-standard instruction.

You will find the centre a short walk from the Mae Haad arrival points, situated just past the Seven/Eleven on the left. It provides a professional, structured environment for those looking to progress through their certifications or simply enjoy the local reefs.

The team consists of nine professional instructors capable of delivering courses in Dutch, English, German, and Thai. This multilingual capability ensures that technical instructions are communicated clearly, whether you are working towards your Open Water Diver or your Instructor level.

Safety and individual attention are the core of their operation. They maintain a strict ratio of no more than four divers per guide, ensuring you receive personalized guidance throughout your dives and training sessions.

Impian Divers offers a comprehensive range of certifications through both PADI and IDD. Beginners can start with the Open Water Diver course, while those looking to advance can progress through Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and eventually to Divemaster or Instructor levels.

Speciality courses are also available for those looking to refine specific skills, including Nitrox, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, and Full Face Mask Specialty. For younger divers or those just starting their journey, they offer Bubble Maker and Snorkeling courses.

On board, you will find essential amenities including drinking water, tea, and coffee. The boat is set up for efficient diving with a dedicated filling station and a variety of cylinder sizes, including 8L, 12L, and 15L options.

The shore-based facilities include three air-conditioned classrooms for theoretical instruction and secure lockers for your personal belongings. For those looking to rent, the centre provides well-maintained kit, including regulators that undergo annual servicing and freshly disinfected wetsuits.

They offer a variety of cylinder volumes to suit different buoyancy and gas requirements, including 8L, 12L, and 15L. The facility is designed to be efficient, allowing for a smooth transition from the classroom to the water.
