Coral Diving Club has been a fixture of the Sharm El Sheikh diving scene since 2004. As a 5-star PADI centre, they have built a reputation for professional boat trips and structured training across the most iconic sites in the Sinai Peninsula.

Whether you are looking to explore the deep wrecks of the Red Sea or the vibrant reef flats of the local bays, the centre operates from two convenient locations within the Al Montazah Beach Resort and Jaz Belvedere Resort. Their trips cover the premier diving grounds, including the Tiran Strait and the Ras Mohammed National Park.

The team at Coral Diving Club is composed of experienced, certified instructors capable of conducting a wide array of training programmes. To maintain high safety standards, they operate with a maximum ratio of four divers per guide, ensuring you receive close supervision and detailed briefings.

Communication is streamlined for an international clientele, with briefings and instruction available in English, French, Italian, German, Russian, Arabic, and Turkish. This multi-language approach ensures that safety protocols and site-specific details are clearly understood before you enter the water.

The training catalogue is extensive, covering everything from entry-level programmes like Discover Scuba Diving and the Bubble Maker to full PADI and SSI certifications. You can complete your Open Water Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver courses here, as well as the Scuba Diver qualification.

For those looking to specialise, the centre offers a variety of PADI specialty courses. These include Enriched Air Nitrox, Night Diver, Wreck Diver, and Deep Diver. They also provide Rescue Diver training and Scuba Reviews for those looking to refresh their skills.

The centre organises boat trips departing between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. For those opting for full-day excursions, lunch and unlimited soft drinks are provided on board.

For divers looking to extend their bottom time or experience the reef under different conditions, night dives are also organised. Nitrox is available for certified divers on these trips.

The centre provides a full range of equipment for hire, allowing you to travel light. This includes all the essential kit required for both reef and wreck diving.

On-site, the team manages equipment cleaning and maintenance after each day's dives. For shore dives, divers are expected to arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes before the scheduled dive time.

The reefs are teeming with life, from large pelagics to delicate reef fish. You will frequently encounter turtles, tuna, and various species of sharks, including Grey reef sharks (Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos), Whitetip reef sharks (Triaenodon obesus), and Blacktip reef sharks (Carcharhinus melanopterus). In the summer, you may also see Hammerhead sharks (Sphyrna lewini).

In the blue water and along the walls, look for Jackfish (Carangidae), barracudas, trevally, and Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus). Schools of Glassfish (Atherinidae) and various snappers are common, alongside stingrays and eagle rays (Aetobatus).

The coral scenery is defined by massive Porites coral heads, gorgonian fans, and various soft corals (Alcyonacea). You can also find table corals, red anemones, and delicate black coral trees.

For macro enthusiasts, the crevices and sandy patches host a variety of smaller creatures. Keep an eye out for Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), octopus (Octopus vulgaris), scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae), pufferfish (Arothron hispidus), and various species of moray eels (Muraenidae), including the peppered moray and gold edged moray.

The diving environment in the Tiran Strait is characterised by strong currents, particularly at the north and southern ends of Gordon Reef and around the corners of Thomas Reef. Divers should be prepared for drift diving in these areas.

At Ras Nasrani, currents range from weak to moderate but can increase in strength near the headland. When diving Woodhouse Reef, it is important to monitor weather conditions, as powerful whirling currents can occur if the sea becomes choppy.
