Easy Divers

Easy Divers operates as a 5-star PADI IDC centre in Sharm El Sheikh, positioned to serve both local day trips and extended liveaboard adventures. Established in 2019, the centre has quickly become a fixture in the Red Sea, focusing on professional instruction and environmental stewardship.

Whether you are looking to complete your first certification or are an experienced diver seeking technical training, the centre provides the infrastructure required for serious diving. Their operations are split between daily excursions from the coast and multi-day safaris that take you further afield.

As an IDC centre, Easy Divers is equipped to train the next generation of divers and professionals. The team consists of experienced instructors and guides who manage a wide range of programmes, from entry-level courses to PADI Divemaster training.

The centre emphasises professional standards and safety across all its programmes. They also maintain a strong commitment to marine conservation, integrating environmental awareness into their diving culture.

The training catalogue is extensive, covering the full spectrum of PADI certifications. Beginners can start with the Bubble Maker or Scuba Diver programmes, progressing through Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver.

For those looking to specialise, the centre offers several PADI Specialty courses, including Nitrox (Enriched Air), Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Night Diver, Drift Diver, and Peak Performance Buoyancy. They also provide instruction in SIDEMOUNT and Digital Underwater Photography.

Professional training is a core component of the IDC centre, with pathways available for those pursuing the Divemaster qualification. The centre also facilitates PADI Emergency First Response and Rescue Diver training.

The Easy Divers Diamond serves as the primary safari vessel, built in 2010 and modernised in 2018. This vessel has a capacity for 12 divers and features 8 air-conditioned cabins, each equipped with private toilets, showers, and Smart TVs. On deck, you will find a yoga platform, and the boat is powered by two MAN 295bhp engines.

For daily excursions, the centre utilises the Easy Divers Pearl and the Easy Divers Gold. These boats are used to reach popular sites such as the Strait of Tiran and Ras Mohammed. Both vessels are configured to handle day trips, providing a reliable platform for reef and wreck diving.

All vessels are equipped with Wi-Fi, TVs, and entertainment options like Playstation and Karaoke. On safari trips, full board is provided, including non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. The Diamond also carries a Zodiac for easier access to dive sites and shore excursions.

The centre provides a full range of rental kit, including regulators, BCDs, wetsuits (both short and long), fins, and masks. For night diving, torches are available for hire. They also offer 15-litre cylinders, with specific Nitrox options available in 12-litre and 15-litre capacities.

Shore-based facilities include rinsing areas and support for divers arriving from the airport or local hotels via their complimentary transfer service.

The reefs are home to a vast array of colourful life, including many species of Anthias (Anthias), Butterflyfish (Chaetodon), and various species of Wrasse (Labridae). You will frequently see schools of Fusilier (Caesio) and large numbers of Parrotfish (Calotomus) moving amongst the hard and soft corals.

Large pelagics are a highlight of the region, with sightings of Tuna (Thunnus), Jacks (Carangidae), and various species of shark, including Grey reef shark (Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos) and Whitetip reef shark (Triaenodon obesus). Eagle rays (Aetobatus) and other stingrays, such as blue spotted stingrays, are also common on the sandy patches.

Macro enthusiasts can find a variety of smaller treasures, including Octopus (Octopus vulgaris), various species of Scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae), and Nudibranchs. Garden eels (Gorgasia) can be found in the sandy areas, alongside various species of shrimp and small gobies (Gobiidae).

The hard coral structures are dominated by Scleractinia and various gorgonian fans, providing a complex habitat for resident species like Grouper (Epinephelus), Moray eel (Muraenidae), and Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus).

Divers should be prepared for the varying current conditions typical of the Sharm El Sheikh region, which can range from gentle flows to stronger drift currents at sites like Ras Mohammed.

The area is known for its diverse marine environments, from shallow reef flats to deep walls and wreck sites, requiring divers to be mindful of their buoyancy and gas management depending on the specific site profile.
