This includes the rollout of PADI Tec 40, Tec 45, and Tec 50 courses, alongside Sidemount Diver training, ensuring that more advanced divers have a pathway to progress locally.

The training programme covers the entire PADI spectrum. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving before progressing through the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses. During specific windows, the area becomes a hub for large pelagics. From August to December, you can encounter hammerhead sharks and large schools of mobula rays. Between October and April, the waters around La Paz attract whale sharks (Rhincodon typus), while humpback whales and grey whales are present from December to March.

For those interested in macro life, the reefs host a variety of nudibranchs, crabs, and anemones. You may also spot various species of sea turtle (Cheloniidae) and diverse crustaceans like lobster and crab tucked into the reef structure.

Conditions in the area can vary significantly depending on the specific site and the influence of the Pacific Ocean. Currents can change from day to day, often driven by the nutrient-rich waters brought in by the ocean meeting the Sea of Cortez.

The best time to visit depends on your targets; Cabo Pulmo is best accessed from May to November, while Gordo Banks is most productive from May to January. For those seeking whale sharks in La Paz, the window is between October and April.
