Mocean Beach Resort is a beachfront resort with a private beach area, a swimming pool and a garden. You can move from sea to pool to bar without making an expedition of it. The mood is relaxed rather than over-programmed, with a sun terrace, outdoor seating and a shared lounge for the moments when you have had enough sun but are not ready for bed.

Couples can keep things simple here, while families have practical room arrangements and children of any age are welcome. There are no parties or events, which suits anyone who would rather hear the sea than somebody else's playlist.

You are in Lemonga, Indonesia, directly on the coast. The resort has direct access to a white-sand beach, with sun loungers and parasols already part of the arrangement. This is a genuine seaside location, not a hotel that requires a daily walk to find the water.

The immediate surroundings are more coastal retreat than busy resort strip. The nearest listed restaurants are around six miles away, while cafés sit roughly seven to nine miles from the property. Several parks and natural areas, including Olat Batubrai and Taman Tiangnam, are around six to seven miles away.

That geography matters when you are deciding whether to go out for dinner or stay put. The resort's own restaurant covers breakfast, lunch and dinner, so the long way back from a meal elsewhere is optional rather than compulsory.

The rooms are all built around two-person stays, with garden or mountain views rather than a promise that every category faces the sea. The King Room with Garden View suits a couple who want a super-king bed, while the Twin Room with Garden View gives two divers separate beds and the same garden-facing outlook. The standard and deluxe rooms keep the choice simpler, with king or twin arrangements depending on how you prefer to sleep.

Air conditioning is useful after time in warm, salty water, and a fan is also available. A desk, wardrobe, clothes rack and drying rack keep the practical bits under control, while the terrace or patio with outdoor furniture gives you somewhere to sit without taking over the bed.
