Accommodation
The Resort is ideally located on Small La Laguna beach, 5 minutes from the centre of Sabang. It offers 19 bungalows & garden rooms (1 double bed and 1 single bed), 4 sea-view rooms (2x 1 bed measuring 160 cm and 2 rooms with 1 bed measuring 160 cm and 1 single bed) and 1 family villa (1 double bed and 2 bunk beds). The rooms and bungalows are in a typically Filipino style, with Sawali on the walls and beneath the roof, bamboo and Mangyan artworks. The centre offers full-board stays (excluding drinks) with international and French cuisine, including bread, cakes, homemade jams and fresh pasta. Three lounges are available: facing the sea, in the tropical garden and beside the swimming pool.

Courses on offer

The centre offers a comprehensive curriculum covering all levels of certification. You can train through the FFESSM system (Niveau 1, 2, and 3) or follow international SDI and PADI pathways, ranging from Bubblemaker and Open Water Diver to Advanced Open Water.

For more experienced divers, the training extends into technical and professional realms. This includes SDI/TDI Sidemount, Solo Diver, and Divemaster courses, as well as advanced TDI training such as Advance Nitrox & Decompression Procedure & Extended Range. The centre also provides instructor training through the SDI IDC and IE programmes, including Course Director levels.

The boats

The resort utilises speed boats and Banka boats to reach the dive sites. These vessels facilitate multiple departures each day, allowing you to access sites like Fantasea or Ernest Point quickly. For those heading to Verde Island, the centre organises full-day trips that include lunch on the island.

Equipment and gases

The shore-based facilities are robust, featuring four compressors and a significant cylinder stock including 12-litre and 15-litre aluminium cylinders. A Nitrox membrane and an oxygen booster are available on-site for use.

For divers requiring rental kit, the centre provides complete equipment sets using brands such as Aqualung and Apeks. Note that full kit hire, excluding a dive computer, is available specifically when booking a 10-dive pack.

Dive sites with Blue Lagoon Dive Resort

Fantasea is a reef site located just a minute's navigation away, with depths ranging from 6 to 20 metres. It features an extraordinary coral garden on a white sand bottom, frequently visited by Green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) and large schools of fish.

Ernest Point offers drift diving between 5 and 27 metres. The site is known for its colourful comatules and a cave filled with thousands of hatchetfish, alongside sightings of nudibranchs and various clownfish.

Verde Island is a premier destination for biodiversity, with depths between 5 and 38 metres. This site is ideal for spotting pelagic species such as Tuna (Thunnus), platax, and carangidae during full-day excursions.

The Canyon is a site reserved for Level 2 and Level 3 divers due to potentially strong or moderate currents. It is a reliable spot for seeing large groupers (Epinephelus), sweetlips (Plectorhinchus), and carangidae.
