Eleuthera Tahiti

Located in the heart of Marina Taina in Punaauia, Eleuthera Tahiti serves as a primary hub for diving in French Polynesia. The centre has established a long-standing reputation for quality, holding a 5-star affiliation and the TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice label.

With over 30 years of experience, the centre operates daily with up to four departures, catering to both lagoon explorations and ocean dives. Whether you are looking for a relaxed reef flat or more challenging ocean environments, the logistics are designed to get you in the water efficiently.

The instructional team is composed of 12 experienced professionals, including PADI Course Directors and IDC Staff Instructors. The staff holds a wide range of international qualifications, including CMAS, ANMP, ADIP, FFESSM, and IANTD, ensuring a high standard of technical and recreational instruction.

Large pelagics such as Tuna (Thunnus) and various trevally are also part of the ecosystem.

The reef is populated by a diverse array of fish, including various Butterflyfish (Chaetodon), Damselfish (Pomacentridae), Wrasse (Labridae), and Parrotfish (Calotomus). Snapper (Lutjanus), Grouper (Epinephelus), and Lionfish (Pterois volitans) are also frequently seen around the structures.

Macro and smaller residents include Moray eel (Muraenidae) and various species of reef fish. During the months of July to November, the area becomes a significant location for Humpback whale sightings.

Diving in Tahiti is possible year-round, with the centre operating daily. The environment offers a mix of lagoon and ocean dives, which can vary in terms of current and exposure.
