Punta Sur offers a truly unique exploration into the vibrant underwater topography of Cozumel's southern tip. As you descend, the sheer wall drops away into the blue, revealing intricate coral formations and the promise of deeper adventures. The dive's signature feature, the Devil's Throat, beckons with an intriguing passage. Here, you'll often encounter green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas) or hawksbill sea turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata) gliding effortlessly, and barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda) suspending motionless in the water column. The presence of these larger, more established reef inhabitants signifies a healthy and thriving ecosystem.

Beyond the main passage, the vibrant coral gardens teem with activity.
