Located in Dauin, Negros Oriental, this centre occupies a prime position just five minutes from the main village and a few steps from the shoreline. As the first Spanish-affiliated dive centre in the area, it offers a unique atmosphere for international divers seeking a professional yet personal approach to diving in the Philippines.

The centre is ideally placed to access two very different diving environments. You can head out to the vibrant coral gardens of Apo Island or stay closer to shore for world-class muck diving in the sandy stretches of Dauin and Zamboanguita.

The centre is situated right on the water, allowing for direct access to the sea from the beach. This makes for easy entries and exits, particularly when transitioning between different dive sites.

For those who prefer not to carry their own heavy kit, a range of equipment is available for hire. This includes wetsuits, regulators, fins, and masks to ensure you have everything required for your dives in the region.

The reef environments, particularly around Apo Island, are home to a wealth of larger marine life. You will regularly encounter sea turtles and a wide variety of colourful fish swimming amongst the coral structures.

For those interested in seasonal sightings, whale shark (Rhincodon typus) can occasionally be found in the area, depending on luck. The reef flats are also populated by clownfish and various other reef species.

The muck diving in Dauin and Zamboanguita offers a completely different experience, focusing on the rare creatures that inhabit the sand. You can find sea snakes and a vast array of rare marine life that requires a keen eye to spot.

The seabed is also rich in fixed life, providing a complex habitat for the local fauna, including various types of corals that form the backbone of the local ecosystems.

Diving in this region is influenced by local currents, which can become quite strong at certain sites, such as the reefs around Apo Island. It is important to be comfortable with some level of current when planning trips to these locations.
