Liquid Dive Dumaguete

Located just 20 minutes from Dumaguete, Liquid Dive Dumaguete operates from a charming beachfront resort in Dauin. Since its establishment in 2011, the centre has become a central part of the local diving community, focusing on high-standard instruction and marine conservation within the Coral Triangle.

The resort itself is situated on an isolated stretch of beach, offering a quiet base for divers. It features 14 rooms with garden or sea views, a restaurant, a bar, and two swimming pools, including one specifically dedicated to dive training.

As a PADI 5 Star CDC, the centre is equipped to handle everything from introductory dives to professional instructor training. The team provides small class sizes and experienced instructors to guide you through your certification process.

The centre is deeply committed to environmental stewardship. It is a Green Fins member and operates a plastic-free facility, working alongside its internal Marine Research Institute (IMR) to collaborate with local government on protecting the surrounding marine ecosystems.

Liquid Dive offers the full spectrum of PADI courses. You can begin with Discover Scuba Diving, Bubblemaker, or the Open Water Diver course, and progress through Advanced Open Water Diver and specialty training.

Specialty courses include PADI Nitrox, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Night Diver, and Peak Performance Buoyancy. The centre also supports professional development, offering Rescue Diver, Divemaster, and Instructor Development Courses (IDC).

The centre operates a fleet consisting of two speed boats for efficient transit to nearby sites and one large dive bangka for more relaxed outings. These vessels allow for easy access to the diverse dive sites surrounding the Dauin coast.

The centre provides a complete range of rental kit, including BCD jacket-style units, backplates, and both DIN and INT regulators. For those looking to document their dives, GoPro cameras are available for hire.

Nitrox is available on-site for divers looking to extend their bottom time. The facility is designed to be a professional hub, supporting both recreational divers and those pursuing advanced technical or professional training.

The reefs around Dauin are teeming with large pelagics and schooling fish. You will regularly encounter great barracuda, jacks, tuna, and various species of tropical fish moving across the reef.

Macro life is a significant draw for photographers and keen observers. The area is home to diverse nudibranchs, cuttlefish, ornate ghost pipefish, frogfish, and sea butterflies, alongside various species of anemones and corals.

For those interested in larger encounters, green sea turtles are a common sight on most dives. You may also spot moray eels, annulated sea snakes, and, during certain periods of the year, whale sharks are available for snorkeling.

The area is well-suited for a variety of diving styles, including drift dives and night dives. The proximity to protected areas like Apo Island ensures a high level of biodiversity across the local sites.
