The waters around Napaling Point are famous for their massive sardine schools, which create a dynamic underwater landscape. You will also frequently encounter various turtles, including Green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas) and Hawksbill turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata).

The reef is home to a wide array of colourful fish, such as Anthias (Anthias), Fusilier (Caesio), and various species of Wrasse (Labridae). You can also spot Surgeonfish (Acanthuridae), Rabbitfish, and various types of Grouper (Epinephelus) patrolling the reef structure.

For those interested in larger inhabitants, the area sees sightings of Jacks (Carangidae) and Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda). You may also encounter Rays (Batoidea) or larger pelagics passing through the area.

Macro enthusiasts will find plenty to observe among the corals and crevices. The area hosts a variety of colourful nudibranchs, including Chromodoris willani, as well as shrimp, pipefish, and various species of scorpionfish and frogfish (Antennarius).
