DebOcean Freediving is a dedicated freediving school situated at Napaling Point in Tagnan, Panglao. Founded by Debora, an international champion and Master Instructor, the centre provides a professional environment for those looking to deepen their connection with the ocean.

The school caters to all levels of experience, from absolute beginners to professional candidates. Whether you are starting with a pool programme or pursuing advanced certifications, the focus remains on self-mastery, managing fear, and precise technique.

The instruction team consists of highly qualified and certified professionals. The centre is led by a Master Instructor, ensuring that even the most complex technical skills are taught with precision and care.

Instruction is available in English, and the programmes are designed to be inclusive. The school offers specific support for non-swimmers and individuals managing anxiety, ensuring a safe environment for everyone to develop their skills.

The curriculum follows the international AIDA standards, offering a full progression from AIDA 1: Introduction to Freediving through to AIDA 4: Master Freediver. For those seeking even more specialised training, Molchanovs programmes are also available.

The reef ecosystems in Panglao are home to diverse marine life, including schools of sardines (Sardina pilchardus) and various reef fish. You can regularly observe turtles, such as Green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas) and Hawksbill turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata), navigating the reefs.

In the deeper sections and around the reefs, you will encounter Jack (Carangidae) and various species of Wrasse (Labridae). Other common residents include Fusilier (Caesio), Sergeantfish, and various types of Batfish (Platax).

For those interested in macro life, the area hosts a variety of colourful nudibranchs (Chromodoris willani) and specialized species like the Pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti). You may also encounter frogfish (Antennariidae), scorpionfish, and various types of shrimp (Caridea) amongst the corals.
