Hua Hin Divers

Hua Hin Divers has been operating for nine years, backed by a team with 24 years of experience diving throughout Thailand. While the centre is located in Hua Hin, the diving takes place via a minibus transfer south followed by a short boat trip to the dive sites.

The reefs around the Bang Saphan and Chumphon islands are home to a variety of larger marine life. You can regularly encounter sea turtles (Cheloniidae), including green turtle and hawksbill turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata). Schools of fish are common, with sightings of Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda), various reef fish, and yellowtail fusiliers.

In the deeper waters or during specific excursions, there are opportunities to see Whale Sharks (Rhincodon typus). You may also spot blue spotted stingrays, stingrays, and various types of sharks such as small blacktip reef sharks and reef sharks (Carcharhinus).

For those interested in macro life, the area supports a diverse range of smaller organisms. Keep an eye out for cuttlefish, octopus (Octopus vulgaris), and various crustaceans. The seabed and reef structures also host seahorses (Hippocampus kuda), nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), and various species of shrimp (Caridea).

Diving in this region is characterised by varying depths depending on the chosen site, from shallow reef flats at 14m to deeper walls reaching 40m. Visibility typically ranges between 5m and 25m depending on the location and conditions.
