SEADIVE operates out of Port Servaux in Marseille, serving as a gateway to some of the most iconic marine environments in Southern France. The centre focuses on boat-based diving, taking you out to the protected waters of the Calanques National Park, the Frioul Islands, and along the Côte Bleue.

Whether you are looking for a relaxed exploration of the reef flats or are pursuing advanced technical certifications, the centre is equipped to handle a wide spectrum of experience. The schedule is designed to accommodate various needs, from introductory dives to dedicated technical training sessions.

The team is composed of highly qualified instructors dedicated to PADI standards. They manage everything from entry-level training to professional development, including courses for Divemasters and Assistant Instructors.

Instruction covers a vast range of disciplines, ensuring that whether you are a novice or a seasoned technical diver, you are paired with someone who understands your specific requirements. The centre also provides training in Emergency First Response (EFR) and Oxygen Provider protocols.

The training catalogue is extensive, beginning with Discover Scuba Diving and moving through the PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver progression. For those looking to deepen their skills, specific specialties are available in buoyancy, navigation, deep diving, wreck diving, and night diving.

Technical diving is a significant part of the curriculum. You can work through the TEC 40, TEC 45, and TEC 50 programmes, with Trimix options available up to TEC 65 Trimix. The centre also offers specialized training in Sidemount, use of underwater scooters, and gas blending for both Nitrox and Trimix.

The Seadive boat departs from Port Servaux and is equipped to provide a comfortable platform for your dives. On board, you will find shelter from both the sun and the wind, along with a freshwater shower to rinse off after your sessions.

To keep you hydrated and comfortable between dives, the boat provides tea and coffee. The vessel is set up for various types of outings, including night dives and exploration trips to the nearby islands and coastal reefs.

The centre offers full equipment hire for those not travelling with their own kit, including regulators, BCDs, and exposure suits. For those who prefer to snorkel or practice finning, masks, snorkels, and fins are also available.

For technical divers, the facility supports advanced gas blending with Nitrox and Trimix services. The centre is also equipped to support specialized training involving scooters and sidemount configurations.

The Mediterranean waters around Marseille are home to a diverse array of fish, including common dentex (Dentex dentex), sea bream (Sparidae), and various wrasses. You will often see schools of fish, such as sardines (Sardina pilchardus) and salema porgy (Sarpa salpa), moving through the water column, alongside damselfish (Chromis chromis) and anthias (Anthias).

Larger predators and residents can be found near the rocky structures, including dusky grouper (Epinephelus marginatus), brown meagre (Sciaena umbra), and scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae). Moray eels (Muraenidae) and conger eels (Congridae) are also common inhabitants of the crevices.

The seabed is rich with fixed life, including various gorgonian sea fans, red coral, and sponges (Porifera). You can also find cocktail anemones and yellow encrusting anemones decorating the rocks.

For those interested in macro life, the area offers plenty to see, from various nudibranchs to octopus (Octopus vulgaris). Look closely in the reef for spiny lobster (Palinuridae), squat lobsters, and porcelain crabs hiding in the shadows.
