Latitude Plongée

Located near Montpellier, Latitude Plongée provides a versatile approach to diving in the Occitanie region. The centre operates across several distinct environments, allowing you to choose between controlled pool sessions, the unique ecosystem of the Étang de Thau, or the open waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

Exploration areas are extensive, stretching from the Giens peninsula down towards the Côte Vermeille. Depending on your preference, trips can be organised as shore dives or via boat departures from the Port des Cabanes de Pérols.

The centre is led by Henri Leveneur, a qualified Moniteur Brevet d'État and PADI Instructor. This dual affiliation ensures that you receive instruction that meets both French national standards and international PADI requirements.

Service is focused on a personalised approach, whether you are diving solo, with a buddy pair, or as part of a family group. The team prioritises rigorous safety protocols, covering everything from equipment checks to precise dive profiles and emergency backup gear.

Latitude Plongée provides a comprehensive range of training through both PADI and French national programmes. Beginners can start with an initiation programme, while those looking to progress can work through standard certification paths.

For more experienced divers, the centre offers a variety of PADI Specialties and specialised training, including Sidemount diving. This allows you to tailor your skill set to specific environments, whether you are interested in wreck penetration or technical configurations.

Boat departures are organised from the Port des Cabanes de Pérols on the Rue du Port. These trips allow you to access deeper Mediterranean sites and reefs that are more difficult to reach from the shore.

The centre offers various rental options to ensure you have the necessary kit for your dives. This includes wetsuits, fins, masks, and regulators, allowing you to dive without transporting your own heavy equipment.
