Located at Marina Taina in Punaauia, Fluid Tahiti has been a fixture of the local diving community since 2002. The centre is positioned directly facing the pontoon, making the transition from the shore to the boats seamless for your dive days.

Whether you are looking for a relaxed reef exploration or more technical deep dives reaching 50 metres, the centre provides the infrastructure to support various levels of experience. The facility includes a dedicated shop, a classroom for theory, and a patio area for preparing your kit before heading out.

The team consists of seven experienced, certified instructors who prioritise environmental respect in everything they do. They are well-equipped to handle international divers, with staff speaking French, English, German, and Spanish.

Safety and attention to detail are central to their operation, maintaining a ratio of two divers per guide. This ensures that whether you are completing an Open Water Diver course or heading out on a night dive, you have dedicated professional support on the boat.

Fluid Tahiti offers a comprehensive curriculum through SSI and FFESSM/CMAS affiliations. For those starting their journey, they provide Try Scuba, Discover Scuba Diving, and various levels of entry-level certification including Basic Diver, Scuba Diver, and Open Water Diver.

Experienced divers can progress through Advanced Open Water, Specialty courses, and Divemaster training. The centre also provides technical and safety-focused training, such as Nitrox, Deep Diving, Navigation, Night Diving, Perfect Buoyancy, Stress & Rescue, and React Right. The marine life around Tahiti is remarkably diverse, ranging from large pelagics to intricate reef inhabitants. On the reef, look for Green and Hawksbill turtles, as well as large rays like Leopard rays and stingrays. Schools of fish such as Snapper (Lutjanus), Grouper (Epinephelus), and various perch and red mullet species move through the water, often accompanied by Angelfish, Clownfish, and Butterflyfish (Chaetodon).

For those interested in macro life, the reefs host Nudibranchs, Moray eel (Muraenidae), and various species of Wrasse (Labridae). You can also find Damselfish (Pomacentridae), Parrotfish (Calotomus), and various species of sea fan and coral roses.

Between August and November, the area becomes a significant location for Humpback whale watching, offering a unique seasonal opportunity to observe these giants.
