Bali Diving Academy - Pemuteran

Located in the coastal village of Pemuteran, Bali Diving Academy has been a cornerstone of the local diving community since 1991. The marine life in the Pemuteran and Menjangan areas is incredibly diverse. On the reef walls and structures, you will find a wealth of soft corals, table corals, leather corals, and sponges (Porifera). These habitats support large populations of reef fish, including Anthias, Butterflyfish (Chaetodon), Damselfish, and various species of Angelfish (Pomacanthidae).

Macro enthusiasts will find plenty to explore among the corals and crevices. The area is home to Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), Seahorse (Hippocampus kuda), Ghost pipefish (Solenostomidae), and various species of Shrimp (Caridea). You may also encounter Frogfish (Antennarius), Scorpionfish, and various species of Goby (Gobiidae).

For those watching the larger inhabitants, the waters are frequented by turtles, Eagle ray (Aetobatus), and various species of Shark (Selachimorpha), including Whitetip reef shark (Triaenodon obesus). In certain seasons, you may also encounter Manta rays and Mola Molas.
