Bali Breizh Divers has been operating out of Sanur since 2010, providing a gateway to the diverse marine environments of Bali. Whether you are looking for the calm coral gardens of Padang Bai or the high-energy drift dives of Nusa Penida, the centre is positioned to reach the island's most significant sites.

The centre operates as a PADI 5 Star IDC facility, meaning they are equipped to handle everything from initial certifications to professional instructor training. Their approach focuses on small groups and experienced guides, catering to those who want to see the island's best pelagics and macro life without the crowds.

The team is composed of multilinguist instructors capable of conducting courses in English and French. This makes the centre a reliable choice for international divers looking for clear, precise technical instruction.

As an IDC centre, the staff includes highly qualified professionals capable of training future Divemasters and PADI Instructors. This professional level of expertise is reflected in their ability to manage diverse dive profiles, from shallow reef flats to deeper wreck and wall dives.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the entire PADI progression. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diver or the Scuba Diver course, progressing through to Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver.

For those looking to specialise, the centre offers PADI specialties including Nitrox, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Night Diver, and Underwater Photography. More advanced divers can pursue Rescue Diver, Divemaster, and PADI Instructor training. They also offer Fish Identification courses to help you better understand the local ecology.

Dives are conducted using the jukung, a traditional Balinese fishing boat. These vessels provide an authentic way to access the local reefs and are used for various trip types including day trips and night dives.

The marine life at these sites is exceptionally diverse. On the walls and reefs, you will encounter various species of shark, including Whitetip reef sharks (Triaenodon obesus), Blacktip reef sharks, and Grey sharks. Large pelagics such as Manta rays (Mobula alfredi), Jacks (Carangidae), and Tuna (Thunnus) are also part of the local ecosystem.

In the coral gardens and on the reef flats, look for colourful schools of reef fish, including Angelfish (Pomacanthidae), Butterflyfish (Chaetodon), and various species of Parrotfish (Calotomus). You will also see sea turtles (Cheloniidae), Moray eels (Muraenidae), and various species of Groupers (Epinephelus) amongst the structures.

For macro enthusiasts, the area is a treasure trove. You can find a wide array of Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), Pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti), and Ghost pipefish (Solenostomidae). The sandy bottoms and muck sites are also home to Octopus (Octopus vulgaris), Frogfish (Antennarius), Scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae), and various species of Shrimp (Caridea) and crabs.

During the months of July to October, the area becomes a specific destination for those hoping to see the Mola-mola.

Conditions vary significantly depending on the site. Nusa Penida and the Gilis Tepekong/Mimpang areas are known for strong currents, making them suitable for advanced divers. Conversely, sites in Sanur and parts of Menjangan offer much calmer conditions.

Tides and weather play a significant role in dive planning, particularly at sites like the Sanur Channel where dive timings are dependent on the tides. Weather conditions also dictate the accessibility of certain sites in Nusa Penida, such as Crystal Bay and Manta Point.
