Whether you are looking to complete your first certification or are an experienced diver seeking specific sites like the Tulamben wreck, the centre operates with a focus on safety and small-group instruction. You can choose from daily excursions that cover everything from macro photography sites to big pelagic encounters.

As a PADI 5 Star dive centre, Black Manta Scuba maintains high standards of training and safety. The team provides guided trips with a maximum ratio of four divers per guide, ensuring you receive attentive supervision whether you are navigating a reef or exploring a wreck.

The regional marine life is incredibly diverse, ranging from large pelagics to delicate macro species. You can encounter Manta ray (Mobula alfredi), sea turtles (Cheloniidae), and various sharks, including the Whitetip reef shark (Triaenodon obesus) and Blacktip reef shark (Carcharhinus melanopterus). Large fish such as Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda), Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus), and various species of Jack (Carangidae) are also common residents of the reefs.

The reef structures themselves are vibrant, featuring various corals and Sea fan (Gorgoniidae). You will often see schools of colorful reef fish, including Angelfish (Pomacanthidae), Butterflyfish (Chaetodon), and Damselfish moving amongst the reef top.

For macro divers, the area is a treasure trove. Look closely for the Pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti), Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), and various species of Ghost pipefish (Solenostomidae). You might also find the Octopus (Octopus vulgaris), garden eels, and the Peacock mantis shrimp (Odontodactylus scyllarus) tucked into the crevices of the reef.

Diving conditions vary significantly depending on which part of Bali you are visiting. Sites around Padang Bai are known for moderate currents, which can make for engaging drift dives but require a certain level of buoyancy control.

In the northwest, such as Menjangan, the environment is generally more stable, focusing on wall diving. Always check with your guide regarding the specific swell and current conditions for your chosen site on the day of departure.
