Located in Sanur, Zero Gravity Diving serves as a gateway to the diverse underwater landscapes of Bali. From the high-energy currents of Nusa Penida to the macro-rich volcanic sands of Tulamben and the east coast, the centre organises trips that cater to a wide range of experience levels.

The centre operates with a focus on small groups and carefully planned itineraries. Depending on the daily sea conditions and marine life activity, dive sites are selected to ensure you get the best possible experience, whether you are looking for large pelagics or rare macro critters.

The centre is a PADI affiliated dive school with a team of experienced instructors. They maintain a strict diver-to-guide ratio of four divers per guide, ensuring close supervision and personalised guidance on every excursion.

Safety and quality are central to their operation, with detailed briefings provided before every dive. The team manages all logistics, from land transfers to sea transportation, allowing you to focus entirely on your diving.

The centre provides a comprehensive range of PADI courses, starting from the Open Water Diver through to Divemaster training. For those looking to refine their skills, they offer the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty, Deep Diver Specialty, and Wreck Diver Specialty.

Specialist training is also available, including the Nitrox Specialty, Night Diver Specialty, and Digital Underwater Photography. For divers needing to refresh their skills, Scuba Refresher courses are available both as a basic skills review or with a dedicated pool session.

The centre operates a 45-foot flybridge boat, which is specifically designed for comfort and stability during day trips. The vessel is powered by three 200 HP Suzuki engines, allowing for efficient transit to sites like Nusa Penida.

On board, you will find lunch, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and mineral water provided during the trip. The boat is capable of carrying 12 certified divers and 3 dive guides, and is also available for private charters for diving, snorkelling, or cruising.

Zero Gravity Diving offers full equipment hire for divers who do not wish to travel with their own kit. Nitrox is available for use, making it easier to extend bottom times on multi-dive days.

For those who prefer to use their own gear, the centre offers a daily discount for certified divers bringing their own complete set of scuba equipment.

The waters around Bali are famous for large pelagics. You can encounter Reef Manta Rays (Mobula alfredi) at Manta Point, while the period from July to October brings the chance to see the Ocean Sunfish (Mola Mola) at Crystal Bay and Blue Corner. Other large species include Eagle rays (Aetobatus), Whitetip reef sharks (Triaenodon obesus), and various species of sharks and rays.

For those interested in the reef ecosystem, the sites are home to Bumphead Parrotfish, schools of reef fish, and various species of corals and sponges. You will regularly see sea turtles (Cheloniidae), stingrays, and large predators like the Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda) and various species of snapper and trevallies.

Macro enthusiasts will find a treasure trove in the volcanic sands of Tulamben and the Padang Bai jetty. The area is a haven for Nudibranchs (Chromodoris willani), Ghost pipefish (Solenostomidae), and various species of Seahorse (Hippocampus kuda). Look closely for the Pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti), Frogfish (Antennarius), and various species of shrimp and crabs.

Other notable small creatures include the Peacock mantis shrimp (Odontodactylus scyllarus), Leaf scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae), and several types of octopus and cuttlefish. You can also find Ribbon eels, Garden eels, and various species of Waspfish and Dragonets amongst the reef structures.

Diving conditions in Bali vary significantly by location. Nusa Penida and sites like Gili Tepekong are known for moderate to strong, sometimes unpredictable currents, which are well-suited to experienced divers.

In contrast, sites around Padang Bai and Amed generally offer calmer conditions. The best time for specific encounters is seasonal, with Manta Rays often seen in May and November, and the Mola Mola appearing between July and October.
