Mario's Scuba Diving and Homestay about the centre

Mario's Scuba Diving and Homestay is a small, locally-run operation situated on the island of Apo in the Philippines. It offers a rare opportunity to live and dive within a globally recognised marine protected area, providing a sense of isolation and connection to the sea that larger resorts cannot match.

The centre is managed by Mario Pascobello, a local Barangay captain with more than thirty years of experience in these waters. This deep-rooted local knowledge ensures that you are diving in an environment managed with respect and expertise.

The club and its team

The operation is built around local expertise and a commitment to the Apo Island community. Mario Pascobello leads the team, bringing three decades of experience to the management of the centre and the local diving activities.

Because the centre is a small-scale homestay and dive business, you can expect a personal approach to your stay. The team provides both diving and snorkeling services, catering to those looking for a quiet, authentic experience on the island.
