Located on the north-east coast of Bali, Kubu Indah Dive & Spa Resort sits within the nutrient-rich waters of the Coral Triangle. The resort is positioned against a backdrop of Mount Agung, offering a quiet setting for those looking to focus on their diving and marine life observation.

The centre is uniquely positioned for easy access, with a house reef located immediately in front of the resort. This allows for easy shore entries, making it an ideal location for those who prefer to avoid boat transfers for every outing or for those looking to explore the reef at night.

As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, the centre provides professional instruction in English and German. The team is structured to support a range of abilities, from those taking their first breaths underwater to professional-level training.

The staff handles much of the logistical side of diving to allow you more time to relax. This includes preparing your kit before you head out and rinsing all equipment in fresh water once you return to the resort.

The centre offers a complete range of PADI courses for all experience levels. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Scuba Diver course, progressing through to the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

For those looking to advance their skills or career, the centre provides Rescue Diver and Divemaster training. A variety of PADI specialties are also available, covering specific interests such as Nitrox certification.

The centre is fully equipped for both rental and private kit users. For those travelling with their own gear, there is a dedicated equipment room for secure storage. The dive staff will assist with the preparation of your kit before you depart.

Full equipment hire is available on-site, including masks, snorkels, fins, and wetsuits. The centre uses 12-litre aluminium cylinders with both DIN and INT valves. Nitrox is available for certified divers, provided as a standard service.

The surrounding waters are teeming with diverse reef life. You will encounter a vast array of hard corals (Scleractinia) and soft corals (Alcyonacea), alongside species such as angelfish (Pomacanthidae), butterflyfish, and various parrotfish. Large schools of fusiliers (Caesio) and snapper (Lutjanus) are common, as are several species of shark, including whitetip reef sharks (Triaenodon obesus) and blacktip reef sharks (Carcharhinus melanopterus).

For those interested in larger animals, the area is a significant site for pelagics. Manta rays (Mobula alfredi) can be seen at Manta Point throughout the year, and ocean sunfish (Mola mola) are a seasonal highlight. You may also spot various turtles, eagle rays (Aetobatus), and barracuda schools during your dives.

Macro enthusiasts will find a wealth of smaller creatures. The reef hosts a variety of nudibranchs, including Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), as well as pygmy seahorses (Hippocampus bargibanti) and various species of shrimp and crabs. Other interesting finds include ghost pipefish (Solenostomidae), sea slugs, and various species of octopus (Octopus vulgaris).
