Kemujan Diver's

Kemujan Divers is a young, dedicated dive centre established in 2022. It is positioned in the north-east section of Karimunjawa Island, providing a convenient base for exploring the local marine environment.

The centre is designed for functional efficiency, featuring a two-storey building that houses a reception, a dedicated instructor room, and a storage workshop. For your convenience, there is an open-air equipment rinsing area equipped with showers and toilets.

The team consists of PADI certified instructors and Dive Masters. You will find a professional atmosphere focused on maintaining high safety standards throughout your training or exploration dives.

Communication is streamlined for international divers, with the centre operating in English and German.

The centre offers a comprehensive range of PADI courses. You can begin your journey with the Open Water Diver qualification or progress through more advanced levels including the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

For those looking to pursue a professional career in diving, the centre provides training for PADI Instructor and PADI Dive Master levels.

The facility is well-equipped for shore-based preparation, including a dedicated compression room for on-site cylinder filling. This ensures your kit is ready for the day ahead without unnecessary delays.

For those staying on-site, the accommodation includes four double rooms on the upper floor. These rooms feature air conditioning, a desk, and a terrace with views of the ocean and the mangroves.

The local waters are home to a diverse range of species, including various types of turtles such as the Hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) and the Green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas). You may also encounter larger pelagics like the Whale shark (Rhincodon typus) or various types of rays, including the Eagle ray (Aetobatus) and blue spotted stingrays.

In the reef environment, look for a variety of colourful fish including Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus), Humphead parrotfish (Bolbometopon), and various species of Snapper (Lutjanus). You will also see schools of Fusilier (Caesio), Damselfish (Pomacentridae), and Anthias (Anthias) moving through the water.

For macro enthusiasts, the area offers plenty to see, from Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani) to the blue-ringed octopus. You might also spot Mantis shrimp, Scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae), or various species of Pipefish and Razorfish (Aeoliscus strigatus).
