Dive Concepts Lembongan

Located in Klungkung, Dive Concepts Lembongan has been a fixture of the Bali diving scene since 2009. The centre provides a gateway to some of the most iconic marine environments in Indonesia, specifically the currents and reefs surrounding the Nusa islands.

Whether you are looking to explore the shallow reef flats or tackle the more demanding drift dives of the open ocean, the centre is positioned to access a diverse range of underwater topography. Dive Concepts offers a comprehensive educational programme through PADI and SSI. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Open Water Diver course, progressing through to the Advanced Adventurer and Rescue and React Right certifications.

For divers looking to advance their careers, the centre provides professional training up to the level of Divemaster and Instructor Training Courses. They also offer specialised training, including Wreck diving, to help you refine your skills in specific environments.

The centre provides Nitrox for all certified Nitrox divers, with fills available on-site. This is a significant advantage for those planning multi-day trips to maximise bottom time on deeper sites.

For those not travelling with their own kit, a range of equipment is available for hire. This includes regulators, wetsuits, fins, and torches for night diving, allowing you to dive with a complete rig without the need to transport it from home.

The waters around Nusa Lembongan are famous for large pelagics. You can regularly encounter Manta Rays at Manta Bay and the Mola Mola at Crystal Bay. Other large species include Eagle rays, stingrays, blacktip sharks, whitetip sharks, and giant barracuda.

For those interested in reef life, the corals are surrounded by a high density of fish, including parrotfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, jackfish, and various species of grouper. You may also spot turtles and ribbon moray eels patrolling the reef structures.

Macro enthusiasts will find plenty to explore in the smaller details of the reef. The area is home to nudibranchs, pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefish, leaf scorpionfish, frogfish, and various species of shrimp and crabs.

The diving in this region is characterised by awesome drift dives. You will often find yourself drifting above vast expanses of coral around Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Ceningan, and Nusa Penida, driven by the local currents.
