English, French, German and Italian are spoken by the property team. That matters when you arrive with dive bags, a late flight or a question that is more complicated than ordering another coffee. The atmosphere suits couples wanting privacy as well as families who would rather have separate bedrooms and somewhere to sit outside than squeeze into one hotel room.

You are in Porto-Vecchio, in southern Corsica, on Route de Palombaggia. The residence is described as being on the seafront, with fine sand, sun loungers and parasols in the beach setting. The named beaches around the property are also easy to reach by road: Acciaju is about 0.9 miles away, Santa Giulia about 2 miles away and Palombaggia about 2.7 miles away. Tamaricciu is around 1.9 miles away, while Folaca is about 1.5 miles away.

Porto-Vecchio’s port and old town are about 4 miles away, around a 10-minute drive. Restaurants sit within roughly 0.5 to 0.8 miles, with Playa-Baggia and Bocca d’Oro close enough for an evening meal without turning it into an expedition. Figari-Sud Corse Airport is about 14 miles away by road, with a drive of around 24 minutes.

The useful distinction here is not a grand hotel-room label; it is how much living space you want once the diving day is over. A one-bedroom mini villa works neatly for a couple who want a proper sitting area and kitchen rather than a bed, a kettle and four square feet of floor. The two-bedroom villas make more sense for families or friends travelling together, while the three-bedroom villa gives a larger group room to divide the night sensibly.

Every villa has a balcony or terrace, a living area, dining space and a private bathroom. Kitchens include an oven, hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. In practical terms, that means cold water and food can be waiting for you, wet clothes do not have to form a permanent feature of the bathroom, and nobody needs to discuss restaurant reservations while hungry. Barbecue facilities and outdoor dining add another straightforward option.

Air conditioning is available in selected villas, and heating is also provided. A mosquito net, tiled floors, a private entrance, wardrobe space and a drying rack cover the less glamorous but useful parts of a stay. The Superior Suite with Sea View is the obvious choice when the view matters more than extra bedrooms. Quiet hours run from 22:00 to 08:00, which should help keep the garden from turning into a late-night briefing room.

The food arrangement is self-catering, with each villa equipped for real meals rather than emergency toast. You have a dining table, oven, hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and kitchenware, plus a coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Sun loungers, parasols, a sun terrace and garden space provide the basics for reading, drying out and deciding that the next activity can wait. Mountain, garden and sea views are part of the setting, depending on the villa.

There is also a tennis court with tennis equipment, which is about as energetic as a post-dive plan needs to be for most sensible adults. Beyond the residence, cycling, fishing, hiking, horse riding, canoeing, windsurfing and snorkelling are available in the surrounding area, with some activities off site. The nearby beaches give couples an easy change of scene: fine sand, a swim and a walk, without needing to manufacture entertainment.

A car will make the beaches, Porto-Vecchio and the airport much easier to combine, and free private parking is available on site without a reservation. Free Wi-Fi is available across the property. Private and express check-in and check-out are available, with check-in from 15:30 to 18:30 and check-out from 06:00 to 10:00. You need to tell the residence your expected arrival time in advance, particularly if your flight has its own ideas about punctuality.

Children of any age are welcome. Cots for children aged up to two can be requested, subject to the accommodation option, while extra beds are not available. The minimum check-in age is 18. Smoking and parties are not allowed, and quiet hours apply overnight.
