That makes it possible to keep a day flexible rather than committing every hour to a fixed programme.

For a change from the coastline, Parque Mendibil is about 3.8 miles away by road and Parque Soroxarta about 4.6 miles. Parque Natural Peñas de Aya is roughly 10 miles away by road, while Albaola, Factoría Marítima Vasca, is around 11 miles away. The list is practical rather than theatrical: beach first, nearby outings when you fancy a change.
