Air Wall, Gili Trawangan: Drift Diving along the Coral Walls

Air Wall greets you on the northwest side of Gili Trawangan as a topography that transitions from a gentle, coral-covered slope to a distinct vertical structure. The dive typically begins on this initial incline, dotted with impressive coral bommies that harbor a variety of smaller marine life. Navigating this initial section allows you to acclimate to the environment, observing the slower-paced inhabitants before the dynamic change in scenery.

Additionally, stingrays (Dasyatidae) can be spotted on the sandy patches at the base of the wall or sometimes resting in shallower recesses, adding another layer of biodiversity to the site.
