Mantascape Diving

Located on the island of Nusa Lembongan, Mantascape Diving serves as a modern hub for divers looking to explore the waters of Bali. Since opening in May 2024, the centre has focused on providing personalised experiences through a strict ratio of four divers per guide.

Whether you are looking to start your training or seeking advanced excursions to see the local pelagics, the centre is positioned to access the best sites in the area. Their focus remains on small groups and high-quality equipment to ensure every dive is focused and efficient.

The centre is run by an experienced team of PADI instructors who facilitate everything from introductory dives to professional training. Instruction is conducted in English, making it accessible for international divers.

With a dedication to small group sizes, you can expect a high level of attention from your guide. This approach is particularly beneficial when navigating the currents often found around the islands of Nusa.

Mantascape Diving offers the full spectrum of PADI courses. You can begin with Discover Scuba Diving or work through the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

For those looking to professionalise their skills, the centre provides Rescue Diver and Divemaster training. They also offer various PADI Specialty Courses to help you tailor your skills to specific environments.

The centre provides a full range of rental kit, including 5mm wetsuits and a choice of BCDs, whether you prefer a backplate or a jacket style. All rental regulators and masks are kept in new condition to ensure reliability.

On-site facilities are designed for convenience, providing the necessary equipment for both recreational and professional training divers.

The area is renowned for its large pelagic species. During the season from July to October, you have the opportunity to see Mola mola and Manta ray (Mobula alfredi) in the waters around Nusa Lembongan.

Beyond the big rays, the reefs are home to a variety of marine life including turtles, reef sharks, and various species of jacks. You can also find diverse reef fish, including Batfish (Platax), Butterflyfish (Chaetodon), and various Snappers (Lutjanidae).

For those interested in macro life, the reefs host an array of organisms such as Nudibranch (Nudibranchia), Octopus (Octopoda), and Mantis shrimp (Stomatopoda). You may also encounter Frogfish (Antennariidae), Scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae), and various types of crabs (Brachyura).

The diving around Nusa Lembongan can involve moderate currents, particularly during drift dives over the northern reefs. These currents are a key part of the experience for those exploring the reef flats and walls.

Between July and October, the presence of Mola mola makes the southern sites highly sought after by divers looking for seasonal pelagics.
